Parlamentarisk Sodomi is a grind band based in Trondheim, Norway. Formed in 2005 by Papirmollen, who plays all instruments in the band.

Norway, 2006: An unbelievably creepy coalition regime of unsexy centralist parties fumble through their responsibilities with brainsmashing recklessness - not unlike a drunk, puking punk attempting to masturbate - leaving the population astonished with threats of horrible war, annihilated infants, tedious bureaucracy and really bad sex. In an attempt to rectify these bitch-like conditions, a grindcore band named Parlamentarisk Sodomi is formed, not only to reprimand soiled, abused freedoms, not only to administrate true Norwegian sodomy , but to kinkify the future with indecent rethoric, politically correct power chords and semen drenched no-confidence votes.

Parlamentarisk Sodomi is a very vaguely organized lobbyist guerrilla surrounded by puzzling myth and infamy. Papirmøllen, the band’s only member, rarely appears in public, if so usually to throw dildos and pornographic manifests at local politicians. Being highly ambitious, this sicko has taken it upon himself to soil and redefine the very foundations of parliamentarism, voting, freedom and buttsex.

The hippies, poets, philosophers, political science students and drunkards who constitute Parlamentarisk Sodomi’s fanbase are hornily awaiting the release of the debut album “Har du sagt “a” får du si “nal”“. Fjords, forests and glaciers worldwide are trembling with fear. Fuck all systems at the same time!

Parlamentarisk Sodomi‘s Har Du Sagt “A” Får Du Si “Nal”, a compilation of the band’s demo recordings out now on No Escape Records, is easily one of the finest pure grindcore releases of 2008, which is quite an astounding feat considering the number of top notch grindcore albums released this year!

Parlamentarisk Sodomi play a savage brand of old school grindcore filled with really catchy riffs, angry barking vocals, a one-take atmosphere with an 80s demo-era thrashing death grind sound. The material contained on Har Du Sagt “A” Får Du Si “Nal” is like a pissed off Terrorizer meets early Napalm Death, Assuck, Repulsion and Righteous Pigs with blazing fast Mick Harris-style blasting, high tempo shredding riffs, fun catchy song structures and some seriously pissed off growled/barked vocals.

The song writing on this effort is unreal, each track is overflowing with thrashing crusty grind punk riffs with a percussive backend that makes you want to fucking mosh! The high tempo blasting and growling are infectious and you’ll quickly find yourself air blasting and barking along like a crazy hobo.

It doesn’t sound like Parlamentarisk Sodomi wasted any time doing multiple takes as the material contained on this release has an energetic live atmosphere vibe where everything just sounds like it was recorded in a single take. The production is a little rough as it has a definite 80s/90s demo sound to it, but for this style of material it fits the music perfectly.

The truly mind blowing thing about Har Du Sagt “A” Får Du Si “Nal” is actually a demo collection featuring the band’s 2006 and 2007 demos remixed with three new songs, and yet everything sounds like it’s from the same recording session! This is probably the only time I’ve ever heard a band who have such a consistent sound on a compilation recording.

I now feel like a total fucking tool for having passed on one of the band’s demos (sent to me for review) to another staff writer who never did review it. I’m just thankful I finally got to hear Parlamentarisk Sodomi‘s demo material and can’t wait for them to record a new full length, this shit is intense! This release is an absolute must own for all fans of old school grindcore, especially fans of World Downfall, Scum, Horrified and Anticapital! Fucking awesome!
