Cor Scorpii is a Norwegian Black Metal group founded on ashes of Windir after Valfar's tragical departure. Music presented by them follows the melodic, folk-ish style of their's progenitors. This style is sometimes refered as "Sognametal" cause it has started in Sogndal municipality in Norway and is being continued by other metal groups of the same origin (eg Vreid (which also had roots in Windir), Sigtyr, Mistur).
