TDW is a 19 year old musician living in the center of holland.
He has been making music for 5 years now and tries to make his voice heard in the heavy world which is music today.
As mentioned in the official bio, TDW's music leans heavily on progressive rock and metal and he would like to make his music speak out to people as the early prog greats were able to back in the 70's (Genesis, Rush, Yes) and later on in the 90's (Dream Theater, Symphony X, Pain of Salvation).
"The music I do is not just one style or thing, if I like a spanish guitar part in a song and a dance beat in the other I'll just do it... Genre definitions are things that I first thought were sacred (early teen years...those were the days !), but the more weird stuff I try to fuse in my music, the bigger the smile on my face seems to get. So that is a good thing !"
"Working on music and writing new songs is my way of coping with society these days. It seems that growing up in a world like ours, people get forced to become just a small gear in a big construction we call society.
And ofcourse this society thing has it's advantages with the communication possibilities and the amount of people that can reach out and come together. But it seems that a lot of evil is spread into this world as well through those same methods.
And when I need a distraction from all the hard stuff that enters my mind through papers, tv's and all other stuff life seems to be filled with, I am happy that I can just get inside my music to reload the batteries...

"A lot of stuff inspires me. I can get inspired by listening to music, watching movies, seeing natural processes happen, talking to interesting people and really pretty much anything life has to offer.
Really, inspiration can come up at the strangest of moments."
TDW is a project and therefore there is not a full band line-up at the moment. (The only permanent member is Tom de Wit, considering it is his project and all) However the following people were part of the TDW project during the making of the Haunts. (The last album released in 2008)
