The album starts without any warning "Destination Paradise" and until the final track, which the band aptly named "Art of Destruction", we find ourselves in the midst of heavy-duty and high-speed brutal death metal. Group Surgical Dissection was founded in September 1993 in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia) in the original lineup included: Robert Kmet - vocals, Jan Cief - guitar, Michal Molnar - drums, Jan Jambrich - bass guitar, Martin Majer - guitar. At the very beginning of their music was like a classic death metal with some elements of grindcore. In the summer of 1996 Robert Kmet left the band a month for a joint project was followed by Jan Sief. The band lasted another three months until Marek "Later" Barto (ex-Anorexia, RIP) did not become their new singer. In March 1997, a full complement recorded their first official demo album "Dehumanized". The recording was made on March 22-23, 1997 at the studio PEBA, city Sliač (Slovakia). The demo album contains 6 songs and an intro (about 20 minutes). The group designated as your style Grinding Brutal Core.
The demo album of 250 copies sold on the Czech and Slovak underground get-together, some also got abroad. Public demo album was received excellent and the band played a series of concerts with the participation of Slovakia in the fall of 1997 the returning guitarist Jan Cief. During the next year, in addition to live performances the group is preparing new material. Recording took place in March 1999 at the studio Exponent in Głogowiec (Western Slovakia). Promo was sent to several publishers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Group soon became interested in the Slovak office Immortal Souls Productions and in early 2002 the group launched a website www.slovanet.sk / surgicaldissection.sk, who was in the English version, and contained all the information about the group. In March 2002, the group returns to the studio Moonset, to record a new full-length album "Absurd Humanism", which contained 8 songs, and was supplemented with tracks from the first demo "Dehumanized". This album for 2002 goes to Immortal Souls Productions. But the summer of 2002 the cooperation between the band and the label ends prematurely, the group is without a publisher and decided to release the drive at their own expense. In April 2003, the band finally launched its own website www.surgicaldissection.sk. At the same time, there is a proposal from the Czech group Fleshless publish the album "Absurd Humanism" on Nice To Eat You Records, which is a CD in the middle of May 2003, after the band began to give concerts in Germany and the Czech Republic.
Wins back several summer festivals, including the Brutal Assault. Less than a year the album "Absurd Humanism" at odds over the world. In late 2003, the band received an invitation from Nice To Eat You Records to take part in a European tour Sensual Death Immitation Tour 2004, which in addition to them were to take part Fleshless, Deception and Gomorrha. then again the team began to work with Nice To Eat You Records, to begin to prepare new material, having received a contract for long-term cooperation, the band went into the studio to Moravia Shaark, where from September to mid-October 2005 preparing a full-length album "Disgust". Shortly after the release, the band gets more positive responses and Surgical Dissection began to tour to support the album. In autumn 2006, the team left the bass player Jan Jambrich and the group continues its concerts foursome. After the concerts in May and June 2007 Ntey Records prepares for a group of 10-day European tour with U.S. band Aversion To Life in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia. Aversion To Life group at the last minute refused to participate because some of its members were not able to come to Europe.
As a result, Surgical Dissection go on this tour with Mucopus, Fleshless, Miasma, Sadistic Brainslaughter, Inhume. The following year was rather quiet for the group in connection with the employment of team members participate in the concerts have become smaller. brought the team in 2008 and additional changes: so, by mutual agreement in March left the band vocalist Ivan Frost. In April, returned bass player Jan Jambrich, and further training of the new material was held without a vocalist.
