FUTURES END has just signed to Nightmare Records for their debut release TBA coming early summer. The band is comprised of a very talented crew!
Marc Pattison :: Lead Guitars
Marc has been downloaded/streamed over 2 million times since 1999 on sites such as mp3.com, amp.com and garageband.com. Marc has been busy recording many styles of music but is most known for his instrumental guitar music. He is currently endorsed by ESP guitars, Line 6 Amplifiers, DiMarzio Pickups, Morley wash pedals, Sabine Tuners, Dean Markley Strings, Steinberg Software, M-audio and Yamaha. He has been on several compilation CDs that have been distributed nationally as well as globally. Marc has had music in commercials, video games and thousands of websites as theme music for vistors. He has performed live on the air on KSJO for 2 million listeners during rush hour traffic.
Christian David Wentz :: Lead Guitars
Christian was born the son of two professioal musicians and grew up in a household full of different kinds of music and all manner of musical instruments. Starting on drums at age 7, piano at 12 and guitar at 15, Christian has had the benefit of learning music from several different perspectives. Christian co-founded Randall Flag in 1989 who played sold out shows all over the San Francisco Bay Area before moving on to play in the clubs and lounges of Las Vegas. Christian has years of studio experience, road experience and the skill that comes with time and dedication to his craft. Christian is also currently working with Mitch Stewart (Circle II Circle) on his NEVER KINGS album project.
Fred Marshall :: Vocals
In October 1992, fred joined the band "Destiny's Void", a six piece prog-metal project featuring Marc Pattison. This is when he first met Marc, and subsequently Christian Wentz, as they all practiced in the same studio. 1992 - 2001, two members of Destiny's Void left the band, and the remaining members recruit Christian and Marcus Gatz, and continued on as a five piece, and renamed the band "Picture This". 2001 - 2005, Fred moves to Houston and joined a cover band "The Dogz" playing hard rock/heavy metal covers such as, Godsmack, Metallica, Fuel, Nickelback. Three Doors Down, etc. 2005, Fred wrote and recorded vocals for "Zero Hour" on the "A Fragile Mind" album.
Steve DiGiorgio :: Bass
Steve has played bass guitar in metal bands such as Death, Autopsy, Control Denied, Testiment, Vintersorg, Iced Earth, and Sadius. He is widely renowned for his technical skills. He is also a founding member of the jazz-band "Dark Hall" and is also the bass player for the Sebastian Bach band, ex-Skid Row lead singer. With Sadus, he also plays additional keyboards. Within his genre, Steve DiGiorgio is generally regarded as a virtuoso. He is noted for his ability to execute very fast 32nd notes with his plucking fingers, as opposed to using a pick or playing at half the speed of his bandmates.
Jon Allen :: Drums
Jon Allen has had an illustrious career that would be envied by any working drummer out there. Playing drums for such metal masters a Sadus, Testiment, and Dragonlord, Jon brings his experience and monster sound to Futures End. This guy can play anything! From the most technical and complicated rhythmic metal bashing to the delicate finesse of the most accomplished jazz drummer. Jon has played with Steve DiGiorgio over the years, and as a team they bring the thunder that is the backbone of Futures End. |

The most exciting tech metal album debut this year, blending Thrash, Prog, Power, and melody into a new alloy of scorching molten metal sounding a bit like if you tossed TESTAMENT, ZERO HOUR and SYMPHONY X and ALICE IN CHAINS into a blender with a few ice cubes possibly?
Here we have a technical metal band, the ferocity of their playing is only matched by the amount of melody brought forth by vocalist Fred MarshalL (Ex - Zero Hour), Fred brings forth an interesting vibe similar to that of Layne Staley, yet not soundling like him. Featuring veteran rhythm section Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Autopsy, Control Denied, Testament, Vintersorg, Iced Earth, and Sadus) and Jon Allen (Sadus, Testament, and Dragonlord) Christian Wentz (Circle II Circle) and one of the most downloaded guitarists from mp3.com Mark Pattison.
Buy or Die for all tech metal and prog metal fans.
"It's mindblowingly good, I could listen to stuff like this all day long! Brilliant!" ~George Ketigenis (Metal Hammer Greece). |
