The band was founded in Tokyo back in 2010 and this is their third album to date. The band is signed to Black Listed Productions, one of the best Power/speed/symphonic specialty Metal labels in Japan who are celebrating 20 years in business in 2023.

In 2010, Akihiro (G), Kouta (B), and Takazumi (Key) – who had previously played together in another band – formed the group with the aim of creating a catchy yet authentic melodic power metal band that prioritised melody.
Shortly afterwards, Minaki (Vocals), Hayate (Guitar), and Yamato (Drums) joined, and the band commenced activities as a six-piece featuring high-pitched vocals and twin lead guitars. The word ‘Shiver’ in the band name Shiver of Frontier carries the meaning of ‘trembling with fear’, but also carries the underlying meaning of ‘melody’.

In 2011, they produced their first demo recording, ‘Hope of Eternity’, sold exclusively at live venues. Shortly afterwards, Takazumi and Yamato left the band for personal reasons. However, they began work on new material in 2012, releasing their second demo, ‘Hope of Eternity/Lost Tears’, around spring 2013, featuring more symphonic arrangements.
The band recorded their first album between 2014 and 2015, signing with Black-listed Records in 2016. Maintaining their core focus on melody while evolving towards a more symphonic and dramatic sound, they released their debut album ‘Memory of Destiny’ on 27th May 2016.

In 2017, whilst developing concepts for their second album, they began work on a mini-album as a precursor. Building upon the direction of their previous work and with all members contributing to the songwriting, they released the more varied mini-album ‘Crystal in My Heart’ on 24th November of the same year.

In 2018, they commenced recording a new album. Their second album, ‘Can You See The World?’, showcasing increased depth as melodic power metal, was released on 23rd August 2019. That November, Myo-tae- (Dr) joined the band.
